Michael Johnson has a successful track record of driving vast growth for multiple brands in several markets leading to two acquisitions (including one by Unilever), while managing marketing teams of over 15+ employees remotely. Our team has experience in successfully managing monthly budgets ranging from $10K – $10M (over $100M annual adspend) across digital marketing channels & offline initiatives.

 

Michael has lead initiatives in roles that included the Head of Growth at ARMRA, Head of DTC at Heyday and the Vice President of Growth at ZitSticka (Acquired by Heyday), and most notably, Paula’s Choice for 6 and a half years, he was the Director of Performance Marketing, which contributed toward the step-level change Paula’s Choice experienced resulting Unilever’s purchase of Paula’s Choice for over $2B in August 2021.

 

Michael Johnson and his team have a successful history in Paid Search, Paid Social, Email/SMS Marketing (Lifecycle), YouTube, Display (including Discovery), OOH, Linear & Streaming TV, Direct-Mail strategies, influencer marketing and acquisition landing page creation. Michael is a seasoned digital marketer who specializes in developing full funnel strategies, including landing page creation, in-order to maximize new customer acquisition and overall LTV. Xylinx has the innate ability to intertwine all digital marketing channels seamlessly to provide a unique customized purchasing journey for each customer. Regardless of where customers are on, or offline – Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, browsing the internet, watching television, or driving down the highway – Xylinx has the digital prowess to reconnect these potential customers with information that relates to their specific needs.

 

Michael was part of the annual Glossy 50 – The People Who Shaped Fashion and Beauty in 2022 – within the Groundbreaker category and in 2020, Michael Johnson’s YouTube strategy was presented by Google at New York’s Adweek. In 2011, Michael received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Marketing from Hofstra University. Due to his excel academic performance, he is a member of the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
