Jeff Johnson, CFA

Jeff Johnson started Xylinx in 2017 realizing he and his team could deliver financial consulting, outsourced CFO, and accounting and tax needs to lower to middle market companies that meet clients expectations without high prices that usually come with great service and deliverables if Xylinx focused on the client and efficiencies instead of its own bottom line.

Jeff Johnson brings over 20 years of experience working with almost a thousand clients in over a dozen different industries. Jeff’s experience in how dozens of group leaders and owners have built teams and organizations in different ways, has given him the insight on how to build a strong and responsive team at Xylinx.  This has allowed Xylinx to build a deep bench with industry expertise and with the understanding of a company’s needs depending on its stage of development.   This, in combination with the experience Jeff brings in working with several types of service providers, allows Xylinx to play quarterback for a business owner’s accounting and finance needs.

Jeff holds an A.B. from Harvard University in Statistics.  He earned his CFA designation in 2008 while he was a portfolio manager at a boutique wealth management firm in San Francisco.

When he is not supporting Xylinx clients Jeff can be found hosting tailgates for his friends and family at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
